The template calculates monhly, interest payments and loan or mortgage schedule. You can use a template designed for calculation in years or months. Sheet with source data:
Amortization period is period of loan or mortgage, up to 30 years.
Number of regular payments is number of years in which you have regular monthly payments. If you want to calculate balloon payments, then you will need to pay off the ballon afther this period. If you do not want tu use the balloon, then B3 cell must be equal B4.
